Primary Care Physician

Community Health Centers of the Central Coast is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our medical policies and procedures.
Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Primary Care Physician will provide primary healthcare services to patients, including routine physical examinations, diagnostic services, and treatment of illnesses and emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide primary healthcare services to patients, including routine physical examinations, diagnostic services, and treatment of illnesses and emergencies.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement medical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor mid-level providers as needed.
- Medical Doctor Degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency training program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics.
- Board Certified or board eligibility in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics.
- Current unrestricted and valid License - Physician and Surgeon or equivalent from Medical Board of California.
- Board Certified/Eligible Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, or Pediatrics.
- Current unrestricted and valid DEA license.
- Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) for FP/IM, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card for PEDS, and Basic Life Support (BLS-C) card for all specialties.
