Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Cutaneous Oncology Department at our McKinley Campus. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group and contribute to the advancement of our institutional mission.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, working with specialists to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Correlate subjective and objective data to formulate a differential or working diagnosis.
- Formulate treatment plans for conditions within scope of practice.
- Perform minor biopsy-type procedures within scope of practice.
- Prescribe oral and IV medications when appropriate, within the scope of practice.
- Document patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
- Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- Active FL medical license (or the ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
- Active BLS (must be AHA approved).
- Experience in medical oncology preferred; general internal medicine at a minimum.
