Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Quality Control team, providing guidance to supervisors and technicians.
  • Manage the calibration and upkeep of analytical instruments.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to meet compliance with governmental contracts.
  • Address customer complaints effectively, ensuring prompt resolutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and convey government specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficient in leading a team of 4-6 technicians.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations pertaining to quality control.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including by air.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and reporting.
