Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Holiday Station Stores - Workday. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and sales floor management.
  • Lead a team of employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, including those related to customer service, sales, and inventory management.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction, including analyzing sales data and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store promotions and events.
  • Ensure that all store facilities and equipment are maintained in good condition, including the fueling area, restrooms, and inventory storage areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach employees.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
