Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Pasco County School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a therapy program to meet the needs of speech, language, and hearing-impaired students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the needs of students with speech, language, and hearing impairments.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.
  • Assess and evaluate students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Valid and current Florida certification in the field or hold an appropriate state license for the position.
  • Enrollment in a Master's degree program at an accredited institution in the field of Speech-Language Pathology or a related field, or acceptance into a Master's degree program within a year of hire.
