We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Tacoma Public Schools, WA.
Job Summary:The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for planning and administering speech and language therapy for students with speech and language problems, with the goal of restoring and improving communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language skills, including medical records and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including counseling, guidance, and language development therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Washington State ESA Certificate.
- Experience working with students with communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
