Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacy Manager to enhance our team at Methodist Health System. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your pharmaceutical knowledge to create and implement innovative pharmacy initiatives, guide staff development, and play a key role in the administration of clinical pharmacy services. A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution and licensure as a registered pharmacist are required. Additionally, completion of a residency program or equivalent clinical experience is crucial, with board certification and specialized residency training being highly desirable.
- Execute responsibilities of a staff pharmacist, clinical pharmacist, and/or clinical pharmacy specialist.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate effective pharmacotherapy plans.
- Remain updated on pharmacy regulations and best practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to pharmacy personnel.
- Supervise clinical pharmacists and offer constructive feedback as necessary.
- Keep abreast of advancements and trends in the pharmacy field.
