The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Wallet Architecture to join our team at Fidelity Digital Assets. As a key member of our Architecture Team, you will be responsible for designing and building software to manage and secure cryptocurrencies. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and set technical direction, working closely with product and technology stakeholders to drive overall architecture and deliver innovative solutions to the crypto wallet platform.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience in software development and architecture.
  • Deep technical knowledge of at least one public blockchain protocol, transaction processing, and smart contracts, with experience in multiple blockchains and production environments.
  • Proven record in designing and implementing high-scale, high-performance, and secure enterprise platforms.
  • Experience in core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Proficient in SQL with working knowledge of database technologies such as Aurora PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services.
  • Knowledge of systems, controls, and techniques for identity, authorization, and authentication management.
  • Ability to provide leadership and mentorship across small, agile teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • An interest in and experience with cryptocurrencies, with a passion for staying up-to-date in the space.
