Position Overview:

Earth Systems, LLC, a leading environmental engineering consulting firm, is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Health and Safety Manager to oversee the safety programs across all 14 offices nationwide. This critical role ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, coordinates workers' compensation processes, manages CDL (Commercial Driver's License) compliance, and promotes a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the company-wide H&S programs across all locations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor corporate health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, ensuring drivers and operations adhere to safety standards.
  • Manage CDL Maintenance, ensuring all CDL drivers meet compliance standards and maintain proper licensing, documentation, and physicals.
  • Manage the company's ISNetworld and Veriforce compliance, ensuring accurate data entry, and timely updates.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for workers' compensation claims, managing claims from reporting through resolution in coordination with HR and legal teams.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and site inspections across all offices to identify potential risks.
  • Provide H&S training, education, and awareness programs for employees, including new hire onboarding.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on H&S program performance and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the company's H&S subject matter expert and advisor for regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR, operations managers, and office points of contact to ensure alignment in safety practices and policies.
  • Support office and field personnel with safety needs and facilitate corrective actions when needed.
  • Travel to various locations to conduct safety assessments and meetings with local staff (up to 25%).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health and safety management, with a focus on environmental consulting and/or oil and gas (O&G) health and safety.
  • Extensive knowledge of DOT regulations, CDL maintenance, ISNetworld, and Veriforce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation processes and claims management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Based in Florida or willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CHST) or other relevant certifications.
  • Previous experience working in a consulting or engineering environment.
