Program Manager

Computers 4 People Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead our Massachusetts office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding all programs serving New England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seek and manage grant/funding opportunities, working closely with the grant writing/communications team.
  • Organize program goals in alignment with contract requirements, providing comprehensive reports to funders and the Executive Director on program performance and opportunities for growth.
  • Build relationships with ITAD (e-recycler) partners to enable external refurbishment, recycle, and resale, generating $100,000 in computer sales through ITAD partners annually.
  • Forge 50 new non-profit partnerships per year, nominating individuals in need for computers and hosting digital skills classes.
  • Establish 50 new corporate computer donor relationships and schedule pickups.
  • Organize community events to boost brand visibility.
  • Launch and manage drop-off locations at retail businesses and libraries.
  • Create and manage region-specific budgets on a yearly basis, working with the finance team to ensure financial reporting compliance with funders/government.
  • Manage office space, rent, and office moving/expansion, maintaining a clean and organized office according to company policies.
  • Become an expert in all software used by Computers 4 People, including CRM, Inventory, Google Workspace, and more, utilizing advanced digital skills and troubleshooting daily.
  • Assist the marketing team with user-generated content and featured stories for social media.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, recipients, and funders.
  • Lead, nurture, and grow the team to accomplish goals.
  • Collect, refurbish, and donate 1,500 computers to individuals/organizations in need annually, potentially increasing with new funding sources.
  • Follow and enforce Computers 4 People procedures, including customer service, accurate inventory, team management, outreach, and marketing, helping to document new policies/procedures for new programs/practices.
  • Hire digital skills instructors to teach basic digital literacy skills curriculum, seeking new contracts with organizations to host classes.
  • Build new curriculum to meet the needs of funders/students.
  • Distribute mobile hotspot and enroll individuals in free/low-cost internet in accordance with funding priorities.
Qualifications:
  • Entrepreneurship and sales experience.
  • Technical experience: Windows, CRM, Slack, ChatGPT, Google Workspace, Excel, with a desire to become more technical.
  • Contract management and program execution.
  • Budget creation and management experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership over responsibilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership and hiring experience, with the ability to keep the team accountable.
  • Dedication to our mission of digital inclusion and community support.
  • Willingness to play a pivotal role in building our New England/Northeast operations.
