Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at Renaissance Hotels. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain shut-off valves for equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Display advanced knowledge of engineering computer programs and systems.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel MEP systems.
  • Train and mentor other engineers as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory experience is not required.
