Maintenance Technician III

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including shut-off valves and pumps.
- Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance; supervisory experience not required.
- Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; parts inventory and requisition experience a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel engineering software and systems; ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Ability to train and mentor other engineers; strong leadership and teamwork skills.
