As a vital member of our clinical support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by making every interaction informative, productive, and positive for our members and providers. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule during standard business hours. Employees may need to work occasional overtime based on business needs.
We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, with hours tailored to align with your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administrative intake process for members
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities and the clinical team to address service requests from members and providers
- Manage incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake and notification tasks
- Assist clinical staff in preparing documents and triaging cases for Clinical Coverage Review
- Resolve inquiries from members and providers
This role operates in a high-volume customer service environment, requiring efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness in member interactions. Flexibility to work evening hours is essential.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work flexible 8-hour shifts during standard business hours, with potential for occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with health insurance
- Background in a hospital, physician's office, or medical clinic
- Administrative or clerical support experience
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding
- Experience in a call center environment
