Reports To: Inpatient Services Director
Status: 60-72 hours per two-week pay period with rotating weekends and holidays
Shift: 12 Hours - Rotating Shifts
Job Schedule: Full-time
Weekly Hours: 30-36

Position Summary
The Nurse Aide will perform a variety of essential duties to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. This role is crucial in providing continuity of care and support to our patients.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience, with the ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology.
- Preferred: Certified Nurse Aide license in South Dakota.
- Physical demands require frequent assistance of patients, necessitating knowledge of proper body mechanics. The role involves standing or walking for the majority of the shift.
- Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
- Cross-training in various functions is required.
Working Environment
- Work involves direct contact with patients and visitors, with potential exposure to communicable diseases. Frequent exposure to cleaning and disinfecting chemicals is expected.
- Work is conducted in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment. Physical demands may range from moderate to heavy lifting and moving of patients and equipment.
- Job responsibilities require frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Employees may be subject to indoor environmental conditions and atmospheric conditions that could affect respiratory health.
