We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Recreation Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of our pool and beach areas, including overall maintenance, daily upkeep, and cleanliness. You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage employees to ensure seamless day-to-day operations

• Monitor quality and standards to meet the expectations of our customers

• Develop and implement strategies to improve guest and employee satisfaction

• Assist with managing group activities, including sand painting, bon fires, and team building events

• Order and manage necessary supplies to ensure workers have the necessary equipment and tools to do their jobs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year experience in the recreation/health club operations or related professional area

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Health Education, Physical Education, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
