Renal Dietitian

LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Renal Registered Dietitian to join our team at Grace Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential nutrition services and education to dialysis patients and their caregivers in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess nutritional status and develop individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans for patients.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and caregivers, using evidence-based methods and materials.
- Monitor patients' nutritional status, laboratory values, and response to nutrition-related medications and therapies.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress and nutrition-related information in the medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- State licensure in Maryland or the state where the facility is located.
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in clinical nutrition as a Registered Dietitian.
- Experience working in a dialysis setting is preferred.
