Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Lead Infant Educator to join our team at The Learning Experience. As a Lead Infant Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners. You will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and communicate regularly with parents to share their children's latest adventures and achievements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Oversee the overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our Infant students.
  • Teacher Development: Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants and Toddlers in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  • Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Center Success: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred; at least six months of professional teaching experience required.
  • Certifications: CDA Certificate, associate's degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred; Certificate and High school diploma/GED required.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aide certification preferred.
Compensation

$21.00 per hour
