Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic team at Jobot, specializing in the Real Estate sector. This position is ideal for candidates with a solid background in Yardi, Real Estate, or Private Equity, complemented by experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing comprehensive financial statements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and conducting financial performance analysis. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to support the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements and necessary regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Analyze financial performance and generate insightful reports.
  • Provide expert guidance on various financial matters.
  • Engage in data analysis and modeling to support company leadership.
  • Assist with year-end audits and budget preparation activities.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Proficient in Yardi, Real Estate, or Private Equity environments.
  • Experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards and GAAP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
