**General Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our Crane and Lifting Division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the overall performance of our Crane and Lifting Division's profitability (sales and rental) and developing sales and rental strategies to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Foster Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, going the extra mile to solve challenges as they arise.
- Drive Divisional Performance: Oversee the overall performance of the Crane and Lifting Division, driving profitability through sales and rental initiatives.
- Develop Sales and Rental Strategies: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement sales and rental strategies that achieve specific goals.
- Manage Branch Operations: Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring seamless execution of sales and rental activities.
- Develop Technical Sales Proposals: Develop technical sales proposals to demonstrate ROI for customers.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Assist the Crane Sales Manager with the activities and performance of the Crane Territory Managers, including management of new and used crane and lifting equipment and attachment inventory.
- Provide Coaching and Feedback: Provide feedback, support, and coaching to the entire Crane Division team.
- Prepare Rental and Sales Budgets: Assist in preparing rental and sales budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop Promotional Ideas: Develop promotional ideas and materials to support sales and rental initiatives.
- Attend Industry Conferences: Attend trade show meetings and industry conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Direct Experience: Direct experience in rental and sales in the construction equipment industry, with a strong background in the crane and lifting industry.
- Leadership Experience: Experience in managing and directing a sales organization, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and profitability.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement sales and rental strategies that achieve specific goals, with a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect well with customers and teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and make informed decisions.
