Private Duty Nurse LPN

Job Summary
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a medically fragile child in the Mary Esther, 32569 area. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work one-on-one with the client, providing continuous care and support to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care, ensuring the client's needs are met and their health is promoted.
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician.
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner, ensuring accurate and detailed records.
- Teach and train family members on health promotion, disease prevention, and management techniques.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, case managers, and other caregivers, to ensure the client's needs are met.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation.
