Job Overview

E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently in search of a Junior Sensor Operations Manager to support the operations of the US Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Signals Intelligence Field Support (DSFS). This role involves the collection, processing, and analysis of intelligence data from various airborne and ground systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of multiple airborne sensor operations concurrently, ensuring effective interaction with various systems and networks.
  • Update and refine sensor resource management processes.
  • Provide operational and ground support for diverse airborne SIGINT sensors and associated networks.
  • Assist in troubleshooting sensor issues and recommend updates to software and network systems.
  • Deliver technical and engineering support for sensor systems and networks.
  • Respond to incident reports effectively.
  • Monitor network connections between SIGINT sensors and ground equipment.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for SIGINT systems and networks.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support SIGINT and network sustainment during system upgrades.
  • Propose enhancements for SIGINT processes and network operations.
  • Manage changes and implementations related to data encryption.
  • Support post-upgrade software and hardware efforts in accordance with technical guidelines and operational procedures.
Pre-Mission Duties:
  • Ensure readiness of SIGINT and network systems, configuring them appropriately for missions.
  • Perform necessary pre-mission tasks, including system reboots and data input for mission templates.
Mission Execution Duties:
  • Provide real-time assistance to pilots, maintainers, operators, and users regarding SIGINT and network operations.
  • Document any issues encountered during SIGINT processes.
  • Monitor SIGINT sensors and networks, taking necessary actions to restore capabilities as needed.
  • Oversee all SIGINT-related network paths and systems, ensuring proper functionality.
Post-Mission Duties:
  • Evaluate anomalies related to SIGINT sensors and networks, including maintenance actions.
  • Submit incident reports and perform necessary software maintenance.
  • Conduct mission debriefs and ensure relevant personnel are informed of any issues.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Associate's degree in a technical field.
  • Current DoD IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CAP, etc.).
  • 5 years of experience with DCGS.
  • 3 years of experience in Information System Security Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current DoD IASAE Level I certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.).
