POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary objective of this role is to assist individuals with severe and persistent mental health issues, significant emotional disturbances, and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities in becoming engaged and integrated members of their communities. This position focuses on promoting the highest quality of life for individuals by providing tailored support and skill development in alignment with their personalized service plans. The goal is to foster independent living and reduce the necessity for more intensive treatment options.
Support staff will collaborate closely with individuals, their families, community stakeholders, and case managers throughout the Person-Centered Planning process. We encourage applications from individuals with lived experiences related to mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license in the State of Michigan
- Compliance with Michigan vehicle insurance requirements
- Maintaining a clean driving record
- Rehmann will provide necessary training for group home operations
