Sanitation Associate for Brook Lane Inc.

Full-time position available with evening shifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of classrooms following the conclusion of daily activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms.
  • Perform both dry and wet mopping of floors and staircases.
  • Execute vacuuming and targeted carpet cleaning.
  • Wash and sanitize walls, ceilings, woodwork, light fixtures, doorways, and handrails.
  • Dust and polish furniture and wooden surfaces.
  • Carry out deep cleaning of designated quiet and sensory rooms as required.
  • Dispose of waste and sanitize trash receptacles.
  • Ensure housekeeping storage and utility areas are organized and tidy.
  • Engage in carpet and window cleaning tasks.
  • Assist in managing housekeeping supplies and inventory.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including wall washing and furniture maintenance.
  • Sanitize kitchen areas and maintain temperature logs for refrigeration units.
  • Support grounds maintenance for educational events as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
  • Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Comfortable navigating stairs.
