Role Summary:

The Asset Protection team employs cutting-edge technology and analytical tools to minimize losses and safeguard our company's financial health. The Visual Security Representative serves as an entry-level position within Asset Protection, primarily responsible for reporting suspicious activities to Asset Protection detectives and management, ensuring a secure shopping environment, and delivering excellent customer service. This role is predominantly stationed at customer entry points, monitoring foot traffic as a visual deterrent against theft.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome customers as they enter the store or specific departments.

  • Utilize two-way communication devices to stay connected with Asset Protection Detectives and Management.
  • Remain stationed at high-traffic entrances and areas prone to theft to deter criminal activity and observe suspicious behavior.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies regarding apprehensions, searches, and preservation of evidence.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with care.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift.
  • Capable of hearing, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
  • Occasional requirements to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach above eye level.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
