Job Summary

We are seeking caring and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team of devoted healthcare professionals. Our ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional care and compassion to an under-served population.

As a Registered Nurse with Haven Behavioral Healthcare, you will be responsible for assessing patients for risk of danger to self or others at time of admission and ongoing through hospitalization. You will intervene appropriately with patients experiencing a behavioral crisis situation, participate in the implementation of individualized plans of care, and provide patient educational information for identified learning needs.

You will also facilitate educational/activity groups, recommend alternative activities based on patient functioning level and treatment plan, and provide supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians. When assigned, you will assume the role of Charge Nurse.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with one year of acute psychiatric experience preferred.
