Position Type: Contract
Duration: 06 Months
Location: Remote with occasional onsite requirements.
As a Software Asset Management Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Gathering and maintaining precise Software Licensing data in repositories to support budgeting, compliance, inventory management, contractual obligations, and cost analysis.
- Collaborating with Software Owners to oversee enterprise License reconciliations and true-ups. Providing assistance during software audits conducted by publishers, resolving disputes, and recommending strategies for audit defense.
- Identifying potential savings through software re-harvesting and optimizing license usage.
- Responding to inquiries from software owners, end users, managers, developers, and team members regarding specific IT Software Asset Management information.
- Staying updated on new and revised software licensing models and options for major manufacturer products.
- Actively evaluating risks and cost-saving opportunities, making recommendations to Software Owners and leadership in Software Asset Management to enhance the software asset portfolio.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Asset Management tools and technologies, with a strong preference for experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and optional knowledge of Flexera.
- Understanding of Software Asset Management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of product use rights for key publishers including Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, among others.
- Awareness of hardware technology and configurations, including virtualization.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $65-$75.43 per hour, determined by various factors including education, experience, location, job duties, and certifications.
