Job Title: Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our team at Realty One Group. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with state and federal laws, as well as providing legal guidance and support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and review various contracts and service agreements, including finance agreements, acquisition agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in ensuring that the company is operating in compliance with state and federal laws, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Legal Advice and Guidance: Provide legal advice and guidance to our business units, including our sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Oversee litigation and dispute resolution, including negotiation and settlement of disputes.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in contract negotiation and review/drafting of complex agreements and contracts, including real estate.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business and technical concepts.
  • Qualifications: Licensed to practice law by state licensing board.
Working Conditions:
