Job Summary

This Maternal Child Health Nurse position involves providing direct patient care to women and newborns in our LDRP setting. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive care. Responsibilities:
  • Welcome perinatal patients to the LDRP Unit and promote a sense of security in the care they will receive
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
  • Perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all areas of maternal child health
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a current BLS certification and ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). Fetal Monitoring certification is preferred but not required. As a Maternal Child Health Nurse at Alaska Regional Hospital, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to our core values of compassion, respect, and integrity.
