Maintenance Specialist

Maintenance Technician (Level III)
As a seasoned maintenance professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager and Leads, you will be responsible for machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance with a high degree of expertise and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Ensure all mechanical and electrical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, are in top shape by following maintenance schedules, diagrams, and manuals.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly identify and resolve issues by observing equipment, listening for irregularities, and using precision instruments.
- Hands-On Repairs: Dismantle devices to remove and replace defective parts, utilizing hoists, cranes, and a variety of hand and power tools.
- Precision Adjustments: Make precise adjustments to parts and control instruments using specialized tools, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
- Preventive Maintenance: Educate production staff on routine maintenance techniques to minimize downtime and keep operations efficient.
- Fabrication Expertise: Use machine shop equipment to fabricate repair parts as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage equipment, parts, and supply inventories, anticipating needs and expediting orders to ensure everything is on hand.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize the use of maintenance resources, ensuring efficiency in every task.
- Technical Support: Provide valuable insights and answers to maintenance-related inquiries, and prepare detailed reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
- Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by attending workshops, reading technical publications, and networking with other professionals.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain seamless communication among work teams by documenting and sharing important information and updates.
- Facility Maintenance: Uphold the highest standards of safety and cleanliness, adhering to all procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Facilities Upkeep: Tackle building, lighting, and plumbing repairs as needed to keep our facilities in top condition.

Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Education: High school diploma or GED; an Associates degree is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License: Required for the position.
