As a Café Barista and Bartender, your main responsibility will be to prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee, pastries, and alcoholic beverages. You will also manage the cash register and handle all financial transactions. Additionally, you will support the KC Café team during special events, contributing to the overall success of the café.
Position Title: Café Barista and Bartender
Reports To: Sales/Retail Operations
Compensation: $15 - $18.50
Your Responsibilities...
As a Café Barista and Bartender, your key duties will include:
- Preparing baked goods and serving beverages throughout the day.
- Maximizing café sales by providing exceptional service and engaging in suggestive selling.
- Meeting established sales goals on a monthly basis.
- Identifying new opportunities to enhance business.
- Adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures for your role.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the café according to health standards.
- Managing inventory of beverages and glassware efficiently.
- Ensuring quality control in product presentation and service.

- Engaging in bending, reaching, and cleaning tasks

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Certifications:
- ServSafe Certification preferred but not mandatory
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
