RN Opportunity on Medical Care at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRVMC) in a dynamic environment that values patient-centered care and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct age-specific admission and ongoing assessments to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families to create an interdisciplinary plan of care, revising it as needed based on patient status changes.
• Administer treatments and medications accurately and document them using automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
Requirements:
• Graduate of a professional nursing program from an accredited college or eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
• Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
