Heavy Equipment Mechanic

As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. With a focus on safety and customer satisfaction, you will ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. This role offers opportunities for career advancement into lead or supervisory positions.
Salary: $35-$45/hour based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, prescription, 401(k) with employer contribution, long- and short-term disability, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment program, and employee referral program.
Job Description: The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will:
- Comply with all safety regulations and policies.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment to access problem areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Inspect and diagnose equipment malfunctions using visual inspection, schematics, and diagnostic software.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Meet customer service expectations.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, with expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms, and suspensions. You must also possess excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. In addition, you should be willing to perform other duties as assigned by management.
