Job Title: Supervisor School Based Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor School Based Athletic Trainer to join our team at UofL Health.

About the Role:

The Supervisor School Based Athletic Trainer will provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of our school-based athletic training programs. This includes fiscal management, personnel supervision, and operational functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to athletic trainers in the school-based setting
  • Manage budgets and financial resources for the athletic training programs
  • Supervise and evaluate athletic trainers to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the athletic training programs
  • Collaborate with school administrators and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field from an accredited college/university
  • Masters degree and/or athletic training residency preferred
  • Nationally certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association
  • Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
