As a Care Coordinator, your role involves promptly addressing inquiries from our call center. You will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating the admissions process for individuals seeking treatment at our facilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
  • Access to reliable high-speed internet.
  • A dedicated, private workspace suitable for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years of experience in the substance abuse or mental health field.
  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with the treatment industry.
  • Ability to connect with and empathize with patients and their families.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and process incoming inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Evaluate potential patients' treatment needs, identifying appropriate facilities and levels of care.
  • Accurately document patient assessments in the system of record, ensuring all relevant information is entered efficiently.
  • Understand and assess patients' insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Collect financial responsibilities from patients, including deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Coordinate with Pinnacle Treatment Centers to identify available beds and schedule admissions.
  • Manage admissions schedules and arrange patient transportation as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with all staff at Pinnacle Treatment Centers to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain focus on personal tasks while working cohesively with others.
  • Adapt to new tasks or goals as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to overcome barriers.
  • Exhibit excellent documentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Motivate individuals seeking treatment.
  • Possess accurate and efficient computer skills.
