Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Annual Fund and Donor Relations to join our team at Wellnest Emotional Health & Wellness. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our fundraising strategy and cultivating long-term relationships with donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fund campaign to meet our financial goals.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Advancement & External Affairs to strategize fundraising efforts and set annual development goals.
  • Create and manage multi-channel fundraising efforts to support donor retention, renewal, and acquisition.
  • Identify, engage, solicit, and steward annual giving donors and prospects, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • Track results of solicitations and provide data-driven insights to inform future fundraising strategies.
  • Provide exceptional stewardship and foster relationships among various constituencies to increase volunteer participation and financial support.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the organization to bring in funding, volunteers, and ambassadors.
  • Stay current on annual giving best practices and maximize the use of data and other resources to make strategic recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum one year of experience in fundraising or a related field, preferably with a background in fundraising, government affairs, social services, or other nonprofit organization.
  • Valid CA driver's license and insurable driving record.

  • Proven success in strategic planning and execution of major gifts campaigns.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to efficiently meet competing deadlines.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to communicate ideas with enthusiasm to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to solve problems while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and cultivate relationships to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
What We Offer

Wellnest Emotional Health & Wellness offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000, as well as a personalized benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-paid life insurance, and a 401(k) company match of up to 4% and profit-sharing contribution benefit of up to 5%.
