Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist RRT at Northeast Georgia Health System, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages. Your expertise in respiratory care will enable you to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of respiratory conditions, from acute to chronic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and coordinate various treatments related to respiratory problems for patients throughout the lifespan
  • Properly chart treatment given and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Manage critical care patients, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy
  • Perform assigned therapy and new starts in a timely manner, providing patient education and information as needed
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Care Professional) in the state of Georgia
  • Associates Degree
  • One (1) year prior experience in a relevant position
