Sr PGD Maintenance Specialist

NextEra Energy, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr PGD Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the West County Energy Center in Loxahatchee, Florida.


Job Summary

This senior-level role directs a team of production and maintenance technicians and contractors in plant maintenance activities. The successful candidate will lead internal and external resources to deliver certainty, executing plant maintenance to achieve short and long-term site goals and objectives in safety, environmental, compliance, reliability, availability, and cost management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize site maintenance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance technicians' skills and knowledge
  • Standardize processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure repeatability and consistency
  • Apply advanced leadership skills for internal employee development and performance management
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
