Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Drive trucks to and from destinations, adhering to DOT driving regulations and area roads.
  • Verify loads to ensure safe and proper transportation.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to maximize opportunities for CEMEX.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • Assist other employees as needed and adhere to company safety standards.
Requirements
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A).
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a CDL Driver.
  • Acceptable CSA score and MVR with no DUIs or DWIs in the last 5 years.
Working Conditions

Continuous exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and working outdoors. Must wear protective equipment while on the job site.

Physical Requirements

Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree. Must be able to perform all job functions, including pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
