Job Overview

BBSI Southern California is seeking an exceptional Construction Production Manager to lead our team in the prefabrication of modular structures. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall manufacturing processes and physical facility, ensuring all products meet specifications and codes requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Direct oversight of over 100 workers, including 20 supervisors and department leads, to ensure all tasks, standards, and deadlines are met.
  • Quality Control: Visually inspect workmanship to ensure quality and verify the accuracy of orders and code compliance.
  • Project Management: Act as lead project manager for various projects involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of modular structures.
  • Human Resources: Responsible for hiring, orientation, and training of new supervisors and employees, as well as employee performance management, including coaching, crucial conversations, and corrective action.
  • Operations and Logistics: Track and monitor production, material usage, and shipping to ensure the plant is within budget and goals are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Production/Operations Management, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience as a Plant or Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment, with 5-7 years of directly-related experience in the prefabrication of modular structures.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software, as well as exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
