Job Summary

The Turf Route Manager will be responsible for managing a route of 400-500 customers, providing excellent account management and customer service, and completing turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, and service calls for customer properties. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of turfgrass practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a route of 400-500 customers, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
  • Provide excellent account management and customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Complete turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, and service calls for customer properties, adhering to company standards and best practices
  • Diagnose and provide specific lawn care solutions for individual customer properties, utilizing knowledge of turfgrass practices and company services
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive business growth

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, turfgrass, or agricultural sciences, or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain DOT certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state-issued pesticide applicator license, turfgrass within 3 months
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
