Summary:

Paradigm Group, Inc. is expanding its advisory services to include cybersecurity and IT assurance, and we are seeking a strategic leader to drive this growth. As the Cybersecurity & IT Assurance Practice Director, you will be responsible for building and leading a new practice area within our advisory firm.

This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in cybersecurity, IT assurance, and risk management. You will be tasked with developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy, selling services to prospective clients, and recruiting and managing a team to service the growing client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Practice Development:
  • Develop and execute the strategic vision for the cybersecurity and IT assurance practice, aligning it with the firm's overall advisory services.
  • Identify market trends, client needs, and service opportunities in cybersecurity and IT risk management.
  • Establish the firm as a trusted leader in cybersecurity and IT assurance for mid-market clients.
  • Business Development & Sales:
  • Drive business development efforts by identifying, engaging, and closing new client opportunities.
  • Lead client presentations and proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term engagements and business growth.
  • Service Delivery & Team Leadership:
  • Oversee the delivery of cybersecurity and IT assurance services, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and grow a team of professionals with the expertise to provide top-tier cybersecurity, IT audit, and risk advisory services.
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and career development to team members.
  • Collaboration & Integration:
  • Work closely with the firm's other practice areas (business, tax, and accounting advisory) to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver integrated advisory solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align the cybersecurity and IT assurance practice with the overall strategic goals of the firm.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, and assurance, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales, particularly in advisory services.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a focus on building and managing high-performance teams.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC 2).
