Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Instructor

Cape Fear Community College is seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineering Instructor to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Mechatronics Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content for the Mechatronics Program.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in the program.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in mechanical engineering.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Previous teaching experience.
