About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens in Oklahoma City. As a Clinical Pharmacy Leader, you will play a critical role in driving patient health outcomes and executing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement direct patient care programs, including Medication Therapy Management, Immunization Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence & Clinical Programs.
  • Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services.
  • Drive regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals.
  • Support efforts on enhancing patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, medication management, and retail services.
  • Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership.
  • Conduct data and clinical reviews to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
  • Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy.
  • Provide individualized patient/provider consultation and feedback on the effectiveness of the Customer Retention Program.
  • Responsible for all questions, dialogues, and issues related to patient therapy.
  • Provide clinical consultation and knowledge to patients, doctors, and insurance plans as needed.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and at least one year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
  • Experience motivating team members to research and resolve issues.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Willing to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if needed.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
