Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Personnel Security Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the field of personnel security, law enforcement, military, or intelligence. You will engage in training to enhance your skills and are expected to approach tasks with a critical mindset. Team collaboration is essential, and you will contribute to achieving shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a responsive and professional call center, addressing inquiries regarding adjudicative case status, program information, and policies, ensuring timely resolutions.
  2. Handle phone calls and electronic communications from the security community.
  3. Maintain customer satisfaction and foster positive business relationships during all interactions.
  4. Update and manage subject records during customer interactions.
  5. Exercise sound judgment in providing assistance and determining appropriate responses to inquiries.
  6. Clarify security clearance and investigative requirements to customers without needing to escalate issues.
  7. Support high-level and special interest cases with necessary information and assistance.
  8. Assist in developing and preparing various documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, letters, reports, and briefings.
  9. Compile accurate data for Call Center Support reports, summarizing workload volume and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: Must possess a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with National Security Databases, including JPAS, DISS, CATS, e-QIP, DCII, DPS, OPM, SII, CVS, and PIPS.
  • Education: No formal degree or specific experience required.

Employment Status: This is a full-time, exempt position.
