Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee the College's Sponsor Contracts, student accounts, and cash collections, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of student account statements, invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and record-keeping tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Investigate and respond to inquiries regarding invoice/payment status, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare Ad Hoc Payments to return funds to third-party sponsors as directed.
  • Monitor receivables for non-payment, delayed payments, and other irregularities, taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects and tasks related to financial operations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field, with a focus on financial operations and customer service.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet/database applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional and discretionary communication skills via electronic, verbal, written, and face-to-face interactions.
