Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Assistant Front Office to join our team at KPC GLOBAL MEDICAL CENTERS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring seamless patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Communication and Data Entry: Respond to phone calls, greet patients, and accurately record patient information.
- Medical Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Billing and Insurance: Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries.
- Patient Support: Provide excellent customer service, address patient concerns, and offer support during medical procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on office equipment, report issues, and schedule repairs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certification: Medical Assistant Certificate preferred
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience in a medical front office setting
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, and basic computer skills
Benefits and Compensation
We offer a competitive salary of $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
