**Job Summary**
The Medical Care Specialist will be responsible for coordinating patient care and services in an acute care setting, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Monitor and manage patient charts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient concerns and issues
**Requirements**
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical setting
- Possession of a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California (not necessarily current)
- BLS Certification
**Salary**
$60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience
