The Culinary Service Associate is a vital contributor to the overall dining experience. Acting as a liaison between the kitchen and the dining area, this role ensures that guests receive their meals promptly and in excellent condition. The Culinary Service Associate is integral to the team, possessing a keen eye for detail to guarantee that each dish meets the high standards set by our culinary team. This position reports directly to the General Manager and maintains open communication with both the chef and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities


• Transport food from the kitchen and expo line to guests in the dining area and bar.


• Deliver meals to specific guests or designated seating areas.


• Clearly communicate dish ingredients to prevent any adverse reactions, such as food allergies.


• Announce and describe dishes in an enticing manner upon delivery.


• Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are visually appealing and clean.


• Maintain a clean and safe dining environment.


• Recognize and greet regular guests by name, catering to their preferences.


• Follow all side work tasks as assigned by management.


• Adhere to sanitation and safety protocols established by management.


• Support the kitchen by setting up and replenishing condiments on the hot line.


• Assist with busser duties as needed.


• Clean all areas of the restaurant, including bathrooms and back of house, as required.


• Efficiently carry multiple dishes of varying sizes and weights in a manner that appears effortless.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.


• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.


• Must possess a current Health Card.


• Flexibility to work various hours.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Capable of interacting with individuals in a sensitive, tactful, and professional manner.

Physical Requirements

This position may involve physical demands, including but not limited to:
