Department Overview:

The Registrar and Student Records Office is responsible for the management and safeguarding of students' academic records. This includes ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of these records, processing transcripts, managing enrollment and registration, and verifying academic standing and degree completion. The office also handles compliance reporting and collaborates with various departments to support institutional initiatives.

Role Summary:

The Registrar and Student Records Office is seeking an Enrollment Services Associate to contribute to our mission.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational proficiency. They should be adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of working independently. Familiarity with examination administration and security protocols is essential, along with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Experience:

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in university policies and academic record management, as well as proficiency in PeopleSoft and handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and interpret information to provide effective services to students and alumni.
  • Create and maintain photo rosters for academic programs.
  • Update and manage the Registrar and Student Records website.
  • Act as a liaison with vendors to ensure proper diploma processing.
  • Support the Office of Student Affairs by participating in institutional events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of record-keeping functions and procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Exercise sound judgment in departmental decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Manage phone inquiries and schedule appointments as necessary.
  • Oversee the maintenance of both digital and physical student records.
  • Assist faculty and staff with information requests across the university.
  • Clarify policies and procedures to students and stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential information in compliance with regulations.
  • Process registrations and manage course adjustments for students.
  • Conduct degree audits and manage graduation processes.
