Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Medical Record Specialist to provide administrative and technical support for our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This role will involve providing support for the EMR system, with a focus on clinical and practice management modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Support: Provide administrative and technical support for the EMR system, including design, build, testing, training, utilization, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot EMR and other Clinical Informatics Systems issues and document research, interactions, and problem resolutions.
  • User Support: Manage user setup and configuration based on HIPAA Security Guidelines, train new users, and provide ongoing training support with system upgrades.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support to users.
  • Analysis: Monitor and analyze support tickets trends to identify areas for ongoing training and system enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting clinical, revenue cycle, order entry, results, collaboration with finance departments, and practice management modules of EHR systems.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in SQL coding language required, knowledge of HL7 or FHIR preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, strong team player with effective organizational and time management abilities.
